Tulsi (Smriti Irani) is back on the screens with her nostalgic family introduction. In the new season titled Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the OG character is seen praying to the Tulsi (holy basil plant) for the happiness and prosperity of her entire family. The iconic background music is pure nostalgia, as it transports you back in time when the TV serial ruled our hearts.
We also see a heartwarming conversation between Tulsi and her deceased mother-in-law, Savita (played by Apara Mehta), as they reminisce about the old times and also share that their relationship has always been more of a mother-daughter one, as they nurtured it with love and care.
Episode 1 of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 revolves mostly around Tulsi and Mihir’s 38th anniversary celebration. The family gives them a sweet present as they reunite for the special occasion with a cake and lots of good wishes.
