Latest Kannada OTT releases (July 14 – July 20) - Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

After a very dreary 6 months at the Kannada film box office, all eyes are on Yuva Rajkumar's Ekka, directed by Rohit Padaki. Will it end the industry's current drought and bring people back to theatres? Joining Yuva in this box office quest is Kireeti Reddy's Junior, which, with its family drama subject, interesting cast and Devi Sri Prasad's music has also intrigued audiences.
On OTT, as of now, there is no official confirmation of a Kannada original release, but Diganth's last film is expected this week. What is definitely hitting OTT is Dhanush's movie.

Diganth Manchale’s dark comedy recently ended its theatrical run after 25 days at the box office. The film follows the mishaps his character encounters on account of being a left-hander, and also stars Dhanu Harsha, Nidhi Subbaiah, Krishna Hebbale and Nirup Bhandari, among others.

Director Sekhar Kammula’s Dhanush and Nagarjuna led film is a tale of black money laundering and shadow finance. The film also stars Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sayaji Shinde, K Bhagyaraj, among others. The film was released as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will be available with Kannada audio as well when it drops on OTT.

Yuva Rajkumar’s sophomore film, Ekka, has him playing Muthu, a small-town youngster, who comes to Bengaluru to find a friend. In doing so, though, Muthu gets caught in the city’s underbelly. The Rohit Padaki directorial explores how Muthu navigates his new circumstances in an action-packed drama. The film also stars Atul Kulkarni, Adityaa, Sanjana Anand, Sampada Hulivana, Poornachandra Mysore, among others.

Mayabazar 2016 director Radhakrishna Reddy presents the launchpad of Kireeti Reddy, the son of Gaali Janardhan Reddy. A family drama in which V Ravichandran and Sudharani play Kireeti’s parents, with Sreeleela as the romantic interest and Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role, Junior is a Devi Sri Prasad musical.
