Latest Kannada OTT releases (October 27 – November 2) - Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

The last week of October is chock-a-block with big-ticket OTT releases, one major Kannada original and at least 2 dubbed titles heading audience’s way. It’s been officially announced - Kantara Chapter 1 is one of those films, while the dubbed titles, Dhanush’s Idli Kadai (which clashed with Kantara Chapter 1 at the box office) and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra also have streaming dates as per their respective platforms. That's a very busy weekend, indeed.

The major releases of the week come from Telugu – Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara and Prabhas’ Baahubali The Epic, but they will not have dubbed versions in theatres.
Rishab Shetty’s much-anticipated Kantara prequel is, according to unconfirmed reports, the highest grosser of 2025. Set in the 4th century, the tale focused on a conflict between the people of Kantara and the king of Bangra, with divine guardianship yet again the central crux. Rishab was joined by Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, Pramod Shetty, PD Sathish Chandra, Naveen D Padil, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai Panaje, Mime Ramadas, Rakesh Poojary, among others on the cast. The film’s OTT release is limited to Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam now, with Hindi expected to be after the 8-week mark.

While male chauvinism was the core of Kausalya Supraja Rama, this time, the filmmaker has chosen a rags-to-riches tale, with the cricket betting the means to this end for the hero. How legal this endeavour is and what becomes of him is the central plot of Brat. Krishna is paired with Manisha Kandkur, Achyuth Kumar is the father, while Ramesh Indira and Dragon Manju are the antagonists.
