Latest Kannada OTT releases (October 6 – October 12) - Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

Monk The Young and Mirai will be on OTT this week

There are no new Kannada original releases to look forward to this week in theatres or on OTT, which should not come as a surprise, considering that Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has been in theatres for only a week and will continue to dominate the box office for a while. It is also the week before the Deepavali films line up in theatres -there are multiple movies, like Bison, Dude, Telusu Kada and Thamma, among others, set for festival release. So, unless you’ve got plans to watch or rewatch Kantara Chapter 1, the Kannada scene in theatres is glum this week. It's pretty much the same as far as OTT goes, but there’s a recent hit film that will be available with a dubbed version.

Monk The Young

Director Maschith Surya’s Monk The Young is a sci-fi film revolving around a cosmic battle of good versus evil in a world on the brink of destruction. The film’s cast includes Soundarya Gowda, Kruthi, Ravi Shankar, Saras Manjunath, Ravi Matti, Sumanth, and Shivappa, among others.

Mirai

HanuMan star Teja Sajja’s Telugu original fantasy action adventure directed by Karthik Gattamneni released in theatres on September 12 and is headed to OTT on a 4-week window. Teja is joined by Manchu Manoj, Jayaram, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu and Ritika Saran, among others on the cast. The OTT version will be available with Kannada audio as well.
