Bigg Boss Tamil season 9 finale – JioHostar via OTTplay Premium (January 17 and 18)

The Tamil reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 9 is nearing its finale, with the weekend episodes to unveil the winner. The show is hosted by Vijay Sethupathi and four finalists are: Aurora Sinclair, Vikkals Vikram, Sabarinathan and Divya Ganesh. With the celebration week going on, the upcoming episodes will have all contestants attending the grand finale. The winner takes home Rs 50 lakh.

Sirai – ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium (January 23)

The critically acclaimed Tamil film Sirai will make its streaming debut soon. Led by actor Vikram Prabhu and directed by newcomer Suresh Rajakumari, Sirai is based on true events and written by filmmaker Tamizh. It revolves around a cop who is entrusted with the escort duty and surrender a young man to court. Actors LK Akshay Kumar, Anishma Anilkumar, and Anantha Thambiraja appear in key roles.

Hot Spot 2 – Theatres (January 23)

Hot Spot 2 is an upcoming sequel to director Vignesh Karthick’s hyperlink film Hot Spot. The sequel will feature a bigger cast with the director resuming his responsibilities. Actors Priya Bhavani Shankar, MS Baaskar, Thambi Ramaiah, Rakshan, Ashwin Kumar, Aadhitya Baaskar, Bhavani Sre, Brigida Saga, Sanjana Tiwari, and others form the cast.

Cheekatilo – Prime Video (January 23)

Cheekatilo is an upcoming Telugu movie which will also stream in Tamil. The Sobhita Dhulipala-starrer features the actor playing a television journalist who tries to do a crime expose. But barred from doing it, she soon chooses to launch her own podcast as she addresses the wrongdoings in the city. Sharan Kopishetty has directed the film which also features Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani, and Vadlamani Srinivas in supporting roles.
