Actor Sivaji leads this crime comedy Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani as the panchayat secretary Sreeram in a village. Trouble begins when a cop with whom he had a tiff runs, is found dead in his home. How he deals with the situation is depicted in the movie helmed by debutant Sudheer Sreeram. Actress Laya plays his wife, reuniting with Sivaji on screen after several years.

Kaattaan

Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi leads Kaattaan or Muthu alias Kaattaan, reuniting with his Kadaisi Vivasayi director M Manikandan. The series focuses on a village where the police station is on the verge of shutting down due to a lack of cases. But in a shocking turn of events, they find a severed head and the cops set out to find more about the mysterious victim. Hindi actor Milind Soman also appears in a key role as well. The Tamil series will have a Telugu release as well.

Young actors Harsh Roshan and Sridevi, who shot to fame with the legal drama Court: State vs Nobody, are back together but this time for a romantic drama. They play childhood friends Giri and Raaji who fall for each other eventually but their relationship is put to the test by certain circumstances. Already, the glimpses from the movie have grabbed the viewers attention. The upcoming film is directed by Satish Javvaji.
