Liger new poster: Vijay Deverakonda flaunts his chiseled back; announces trailer release date

The presence of legendary boxer Mike Tyson is expected to be one of the highlights of the film

Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey, is one of the most awaited films in August. After unveiling a few stills and promo videos, makers have now released a new poster.

The poster also revealed an update on the movie’s much-awaited trailer. Vijay is seen flaunting his chiseled back in the poster which mentions that the trailer will be released at 9.30 am on July 21. The actor shared the poster from his Instagram page which has been lapped up by his fans.

Recently, the team had released a nude poster featuring Vijay which went viral in no time. The peppy song Akdi Pakdi, in which Vijay and Ananya are seen shaking a leg, too, became a rage on social media.

Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan among others will be seen playing key characters in the film. The legendary boxer Mike Tyson plays an extended cameo in the movie; his presence is expected to be one of the highlights of Liger. The project helmed by Puri Jagganadh has been produced by Puri Connects and Dharma Productions.

Liger, which was announced in 2019, marks the Hindi debut of Vijay. The much-awaited project is slated for a theatrical release on August 25.

Vijay will next be seen in Kushi along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Jana Gana Mana, which will have him teaming up with Puri for the second time, is another project he has in his kitty.
