Only Murders in the Building Season 5

Release date: September 9

Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short have put on their detective hats once again in Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building. The new season will focus on the suspicious death of Arconia doorman Lester, with Charles, Oliver, and Mabel investigating while navigating new suspects, secrets, and dangers. You can expect the return of Meryl Streep and Nathan Lane, along with new additions Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, and Keegan-Michael Key.

The Paper

Release date: September 5

This new Peacock original show claims to be the spin-off of the critically acclaimed The Office (2005-2013) show. You can expect a new dysfunctional workplace in this upcoming series that uses a mockumentary style to capture the humorous and often mundane lives of the employees at the fictional Toledo Truth-Teller. The cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Oscar Nuñez, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key.

Task

Release date: September 8

Mark Ruffalo returns with his brilliance in this crime drama series next month, after his grand protayal in Robert Pattinson's Mickey 17 this year. The story fo Task follows the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia. An FBI agent named Tom is forced to lead a special task force to investigate a string of violent home invasion robberies. The show will also feature Tom Pelpherey, Alison Oliver, Fabien Frankel, Silvia Dionicio, Martha Plimton, and Sam Keeley.

The Trial Season 2

Release date: September 19

Kajol and Jisshu Sengupta returns to the chaos of legal battles and betrayals in the second season of The Trial series. You can expect a darker, deeper story focusing on Noyonika's continued struggle to re-establish her career as a lawyer and fight for her family amidst renewed political intrigue and personal betrayals. Other cast includes Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chaddha, Alyy Khan, and Gaurav Pandey.

A Minecraft Movie

Release date: September 4

The English adventure comedy movie is coming soon on JioHotstar next month, after making its theatrical release in March. Starring Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge, the story follows a group of four people who are transported to an otherworldly universe. They must team up with legendary crafter Steve and stop the villainous Piglin Queen from invading and destroying all creativity.

Rambo in Love

Release date: September 12

This Telugu romance drama series is coming to JioHotstar next month. Directed by Ajith Reddy, Rambo in Love focuses on a young man named Rambo who falls in love with his boss, and navigates the corporate challenges, with an amalgamation of comedy and humour. The series will feature Payal Chengappa, Abhinav Manikanta, Kavya Achu, Nandu Bhargav, Pavan Yatagani, Appaji Ambarisha, and Keshav Deepak in lead roles.
