This also reflects in the box office collections of Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra which registered a jumpstart on its day 2 at the box office, earning Rs 3.75 crore and overtaking Mohanlal-led Hridayapoorvam, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra is a 2025 Malayalam film, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the lead roles, released in theatres on August 28, 2025, along with Hridayapoorvam. The woman superhero movie was lagging behind the veteran actor-director’s film on day 1, but the script completely changed on day 2 with Lokah earning ₹ 3.75 crore, with Hridayapoorvam dropping to Rs 2.7 crore.

On day 1, Hridayapoorvam was the winner with Rs 3.25 crore while Lokah made only Rs 2.7 crore, according to Sacnilk. Lokah total earnings now stand at Rs 6.45 crore, compared to while Hridayapoorvam is left behind at Rs 5.95 crore, putting Kalyani-starrer right at the top of all Onam releases. Kalyani’s other film with Fahadh Faasil Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, and Maine Pyar Kiya are yet to cross Rs 1 crore.
