Love Beyond Wicket (LBW), the 2026 Tam il web series starring actor Vikranth in the lead role, is now streaming. LBW is a sports-based drama, and is part of JioHotstar's south content slate for this year. You can also stream LBW via OTTplay Premium as well.

We had earlier announced that Vikranth will be starring a show titled Love Beyond Wicket. The series is JioHotstar's new show and the first Tamil web series to release in 2026. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also watch LBW. The sports drama is based on cricket and is a long-format show. The first four episodes of the show are now streaming, with the rest of the episodes to drop on every Thursday, weekly basis. Apart from Tamil, LBW is also available in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada audio languages along with English subtitles.

Love Beyond Wicket is a cricket-based web series and revolves around the relationship between a coach and his students. Vikranth plays Rangan, who was once a promising cricketer, but was never able to succeed. Now a coach, Rangan is to train an underdog team from a struggling cricket academy. Their win is necessary to determine the revival of their lost legacy. But with bitterness between the coach and students, how will they succeed forms rest of the story.

Love Beyond Wicket marks the OTT debut of actor Vikranth. The show features a young cast, including Sindhu Shyam, Niyathi, Harish, Ayaz Khan, Akshatha, Naveen, Nikhil Nair, and Viswa Mithran, among others. It is written by Aruna Rakhee and directed by Ganesh Karthikeyan.

Meanwhile, LBW is the first of the southern content slate of JioHotstar that was unveiled recently. Many web series and films are slated for release in 2026, including Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Kaataan directed by Manikandan, and Lingam featuring Kathir, Divya Bharathi, and Poornima Ravi, apart from renewal of web series like Good Wife and Heart Beat.
