The film is a remake of the Telugu romantic drama Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. As per multiple reports, the film has collected Rs 1.17 crore total at the box office. The film, which was made on a humble budget and with no star names associated, was an average grosser.

Vikram Prabhu headlines Love Marriage in which the actor plays a man past his ideal marriageable age as he is constantly looking out for a bride. After several attempts, his family fixes a marriage with a girl, who seems to be visibly off when the groom and his family come to see her. Set during the Covid pandemic lockdown, the rest of the film is about if the man gets married or not.

The bride is played by actor Sushmitha Bhat with Meenakshi Dinesh, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Gajaraj, Muruganantham, and Kodangi Vadivelu, among others, playing pivotal roles. Sathyaraj makes a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by debutant Shanmuga Priyan, the music is scored by Sean Roldan and Madhan Christopher handling cinematography. Bharath Vikraman is overseeing editing works, and M. Murali is the production designer.
