After receiving a 9.4 on IMDb, Kantara, joined the ranks of successful South films of 2022 like Pushpa, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2, Vikram, Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan-1, and the rest. We compile a list of most-loved films, starring Rishab Shetty, in no specific order, as Kantara is doing well at the box office with critics appreciating his performance.

Ulidavaru Kandante (Jio Cinema/YouTube)

Five characters tell their perspectives of a murder they saw happen on Krishna Janmashtami in the crime thriller. Rakshit Shetty plays the hero in the movie, but Kantara star Rishab Shetty manages to sneak in a noteworthy appearance.

Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana (Zee5)

An intense gangster thriller, it tells the tale of two thugs, Shiva and Hari, who were raised in Mangalore by the mother of the latter. The narrative of GGVV moves along with ease; thanks to some fantastic sequences and outstanding performances, and is beautifully heightened by Praveen Shriyan's cinematography and Midhun Mukundan's soundtrack.

Hero (Zee5)

Hero is a fun Kannada drama that promises plenty of action, humour, and drama. In the film, Shetty plays a barber, who tries to rescue his ex-girlfriend from a gangster's home. For anyone who enjoyed Shetty's performance in Kantara, this movie is a must-see.

Avane Srimannarayana (Prime Video)

The story of a crooked cop whose life is turned upside down as he embarks on a quest to find a priceless artefact is the subject of the movie. Will he be able to overcome the perilous challenges in his way or will he give up? The period drama, set in the 80s, has Shanvi Srivastav playing the female lead. The cast also includes Balaji Manohar, Pramod Shetty, and Achyuth Kumar.

Katha Sangama (Prime Video)

Katha Sangama is a collection of seven stories that Rishab Shetty came up with. Each story in the anthology drama, in which Shetty played a beggar, focuses on the emotions of people at various phases of life. The movie served as a tribute to director Sri Puttanna Kanagal.

Harikathe Alla Girikathe (Voot)

Rishab not only plays the lead role in the comedy caper directed by Karan Ananth and Anirudh Mahesh, but also served as executive producer for Sandesh Production. For the lighthearted comedy-drama that offers a peek at the challenges in the entertainment industry, Shetty collaborated with Thapaswini Poonacha, Rachana Inder, and Honnavalli Krishna among others.

Bell Bottom (MX Player)

With the comedy-drama Bell Bottom from director Jayatheertha, Rishab Shetty made his acting debut. The movie's story is centred on Divakara, a constable, who realises his childhood dream of becoming a detective by cracking a robbery case.
