Maareesan is an upcoming Tamil thriller drama, which is set to hit the big screens this week. The film will release on July 25 in theatres. It will coincide with the release of another Tamil film, Thalaivan Thalaivii, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.
The trailer of Maareesan was released by the makers on social media recently. The film trailer mainly concentrates on two lead characters played by Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil. With an eerie tone, we see the two men taking a road trip as we sense that something is shady about Fahadh’s character. It looks like he wants to loot Vadivelu who is loaded with money. The latter also appears to be knowing what he is dealing with after he gets money from ATM. The duo takes a road trip via bike to drop Vadivelu in Thiruvanamalai. We see the duo sharing many moments, as the cops are tracking a motorcycle.
The plot of Maareesan revolves around two men who take a bike trip together. Vadivelu plays an Alzheimer’s patient in the film, while Fahadh Faasil appears to be a conman wanting to loot the money. The rest of the film is whether he succeeds or not.
After Maamannan, Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil will reunite for the second time with Maareesan. The film is directed by Sudheesh Sankar, while the story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by V Krishna Moorthy, who is also the creative director. Produced by RB Choudhary under Super Good Films, the film also features known actors including Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, PL Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Haritha, and Telephone Raja.
