Made in Heaven Season 2: Sobhita Dhulipala celebrates 3 years of show, teases new season to be 'insane'

The popular series of Amazon Prime Video, Made in Heaven has clocked three years. The team is celebrating the anniversary today. The series was produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti under her banner, Tiger Baby.

The series, which tells the story of two wedding planners, helped Sobhita Dhulipala rise to fame due to her brilliant performance. The show made her an overnight sensation. She took to Instagram to mark the third year of the show since its release. The Kurup actress shared some BTS moments from the show that includes some candid photographs of herself, the set, crew and her co-stars. She captioned her post saying, "Sharing some BTS from Made in Heaven Season 1 cus it’s been 3 years since release! March 8, 2019. So hyped about the INSANE season 2 we cooked up. Dropping in a few months. So hold the f**k on. Also love you.”

Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar, the producer and director of the show had issued a statement stating that she can't believe the show has already completed three years and it feels like it was just yesterday that they were filming for it in New Delhi. "We all came from such different backgrounds and mindsets, but through the course of the making, found a beautiful confluence. I am so proud to have created a show that has left an impact on so many,” she said according to Indian Express.
