One of the Netflix originals that was announced by the streaming giant earlier, Made in Korea is a coming-of-age drama, marking Priyanka Mohan’s first film in which she headlines it.

Made in Korea is the recent addition to the Tamil OTT space. While we had earlier reported that Priyanka Arul Mohan will be starring in the lead role with filmmaker Ra Karthik helming the project. The film is now out, streaming on Netflix. You can stream the feel-good, light-hearted film in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi along with English subtitles.

The film is about a small-town girl called Shenba who is fascinated by a Tamil girl who travelled to Korea and eventually became a princess. Ever since childhood, Shenba aspires to visit Korea. As she grows up, in a sudden turn of events, Shenba lands up in Korea all by herself. While she begins to get acquainted and form friendships, the film revolves around how she finds about herself through the journey. Directed by Ra Karthik, the film stars Rishikanth, Jenson Dhiwakar, Korean actors Park Hye‑Jin and No Ho‑jin, and others are also part of the cast. It is to be noted that Made in Korea is part of the content slate announced by Netflix earlier. Series like Legacy and #Love are also expected to stream in 2026.

This week, the OTT space is set to witness multiple releases. While Anupama Parameswaran’s Lockdown is already streaming on Prime Video, there are other titles like Pookie and Naangal which will release on ZEE5 and SunNXT respectively on March 13. On the same day, Prime Video will also debut its Tamil original series Local Times while JioHotstar’s long-running series Resort will premiere as well.
