Madhumita Sarcar begins her work for Jatiswar

Penned by Anuja Chatterjee, Sani Ghosh Roy from Acropolis Entertainment will direct the series.

Madhumita Sarcar has been busy with her Telugu film. On the other hand, her next Bengali film Dilkhush waits to be released. Amidst all these, she announced her upcoming web series Jatiswar for Hoichoi. Jatiswar means someone who has the supernatural ability to remember things from their previous lives. However, Bengali people relate Jatiswar to the film of the same name made by Srijit Mukerji. However, the web series has no similarity with the film, as cleared by Madhumita.

Penned by Anuja Chatterjee, Sani Ghosh Roy from Acropolis Entertainment will direct the series. Anandabazar Online asked Madhumita about her reaction to the audience who would search for similarities between the series and the film. She answered, “See, Jatiswar is someone who can tell about their previous births. There can be different types of love stories. Maybe the theme is the same, but the plot and story might be completely different. In this case also, perhaps the film and my series stemmed from similar thoughts, but the stories are completely different.”

The actress loves to live inside the character. That was why this role appealed to her. She wants to portray herself from varied angles. The promotion of Dilkhush started. The series will start shooting in December end. She is soon to work in a Hindi series. Some works of the Telugu series are still remaining. Madhumita at present is undertaking training in Tamil in order to prepare herself better.
