Making of Sabari: Varalaxmi Sarathkumar sweats it out, performs breathtaking stunts for her action thriller

Ganesh Venkatram, Shashank, Mime Gopi play other important roles in the thriller directed by Anil Katz

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is a fine example of an actor in the industry who braved past initial failures, rediscovered herself and carved a niche for playing strong author-backed roles across industries. The actress, who celebrates her birthday today, was last seen in Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy and is now gearing up for the release of Sabari, that features her in a lead role.

Commemorating her birthday, the makers of Sabari unveiled a special glimpse of the making today. Shooting in several exotic locations in various parts of the country, Varalaxmi looks fit and is at her stylish best in the video. Donning a wide variety of costumes, she is seen prepping for the action sequences, practicing her moves ahead of a dance shoot and engaging in intense discussions with the team.

She is driving a bike as well in an action sequence, delivering intense dialogues in a courtroom sequence and dubbing for her portions later. The slick video offers every reason for you to be curious about her avatar in Sabari, which wrapped its shoot recently. Written and directed by Anil Katz, the film is produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla and presented by Maharshi Kondla under Maha Movies.

Sabari will have simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Ganesh Venkatram, Shashank, Mime Gopi essay other pivotal roles in the film that also stars Sunaina, Rajashree Nair, Madhunandan, Rashika Bali (Bombay), Viva Raghava, Prabhu, Bhadram, Krishna Teja, Bindu Pagidimarri, Ashritha Vemuganti, Harshini Koduru, Archana Anant, Pramodini, Baby Niveksha and Baby Kritika.

In a recent statement, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar ravished praise upon the film’s producer and credit him for trusting the content fully and giving it the budget and the scale it deserved. The makers are confident that the film has come out well and label it an emotional thriller. The post-production formalities are nearing completion and the release date will be announced shortly.

Rahul Srivatsav cranks the camera while Asish Teja Pulala is the art director and Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor respectively.
