After a tremendous TV career, Mr Bean famed actor Rowan Atkinson is all set to make his OTT debut on Netflix. Rowan starrer Man Vs Bee is all set to launch later this summer on June 24 and the first look has his fans going crazy.

Named aptly, the series is a display of battle between the formidable and the unformidable. The series will follow Atkinson who goes against the bee as he housesits a luxurious mansion. If anything, the first look at it is sure to give you a glimpse of the upcoming war.

The official poster of the nine-part show shows Atkinson, 67, crouching up against a marble kitchen counter, looking at a bee with dreaded eyes. He holds a spatula in his hand and is ready to attack the flying creature at any given moment. A pot is ablaze on a stove behind him as the bee perches in front of Rowan, as if daring him to make the first move.

Man vs Bee promises that the main character's rift with the bee will create unprecedented mayhem. This concept further raises the viewer’s frenzy as it drops zero hints about who will emerge victorious in the battle.

Mr Bean’s fans are sure to relate to the plight of his character, as they might be reminded of the time they had to fight off an unwanted insect in their home and it just wouldn’t go away, no matter how hard they tried!

Written by Will Davies and co-created by Will and Rowan, the show also stars Jing Lusi, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Greg McHugh, India Fowler, Claudie Blakley and Tom Basden in pivotal roles.

With each of its episodes lasting between 10 and 20 minutes, the audience can safely expect a fun-filled ride full of twists and turns. However, who will emerge victoriously still remains the bigger question! The answer will be unveiled on June 24 on Netflix.
