There are a few scenes, including some featuring noted comedian VTV Ganesh, whose episode was completely cut from the theatrical version. One of the sources close to the unit revealed that this particular episode, along with a few other comedy scenes that were edited out, has now been added to the OTT version.

The source also added that scenes featuring Chiranjeevi and small kids have been included, as the film is a family drama that was released during the Sankranti season.

Director Anil Ravipudi did not want the film to stretch beyond two hours and thirty minutes, which is why he deleted several scenes from the theatrical version. Speaking in an interview, he revealed that there are many surprises that will be unveiled during the OTT release of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.

There is also a rumour that a special song, which was omitted from the final cut, has been added, but there is no confirmation regarding this number. Chiranjeevi played the main lead in the film, which also stars Nayanthara as the female lead.
