The makers unveiled the trailer on January 12, and Rani Mukerji reprises her iconic role as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, taking on a ruthless female villain while racing against time to rescue missing girls.

Yash Raj Films unveiled the trailer of the highly anticipated Mardaani 3, marking the next thrilling chapter in India’s most iconic female-led franchise. In this third instalment, Rani Mukerji reprises her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy who is now on a high-stakes mission to save missing girls across India.

Shivani faces her toughest challenge yet - a ruthless, powerful female adversary, Amma, brought to life by the acclaimed Mallika Prasad. Shivani goes undercover to catch Amma but faces numerous challenges.

Meanwhile, Janaki Bodiwala (Shaitaan) joins the cast in a pivotal role, while Aayush Gupta (The Railway Men) delivers a captivating script that promises edge-of-the-seat suspense.

Earlier, Rani Mukerji said in a statement, “When we set out to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we find a script that would take the experience of watching a Mardaani franchise film higher. I am really excited about what we have at hand and I’m only hoping that the audience too feels the same after watching Mardaani 3 in theatres!"

Rani further said that Mardaani is a highly acclaimed franchise, and they have a certain responsibility to fulfill people's expectations. She promised that they will try their best to fulfill these expectations.
