Actor Kavin is set to release his next movie, Mask, a comedy thriller, on November 21. Directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok and mentored by Vetrimaaran, it also stars Andrea Jeremiah and Ruhani Sharma

Actor Kavin, most recently seen in Tamil romantic fantasy film Kiss, is already looking forward to his next release, Mask. Scheduled to release in theatres on November 21 Mask is a comedy thriller which also stars Andrea Jeremiah and Ruhani Sharma. While speaking about Mask in a recent promotion interview, Kavin took the name of fellow actor Pradeep Ranganathan and his 100-crore success with Dude most recently.

Kavin recently spoke about his Pradeep Ranganathan, who recently delivered a 100-crore success with Dude. The latter had been on a roll, delivering his third consecutive 100-crore milestone after Love Today and Dragon.

Kavin, while promoting his film Mask, spoke about Pradeep’s success, “I see Pradeep as a star. First film (Comali) was based on content, and it served as a landmark for him and the efforts that he put in as a director. But when it happened to the second film (Love Today) too, we have to notice what he has done. It is not an easy thing. I don't think it is right to call him an emerging star. In today's times, when to make a film itself is hard, he has been able to do the same again."

Further speaking about Pradeep in Dude, Kavin said, "I liked Pradeep's comedy, and there are some small antics that are really fun. The way he carries himself and performs comedy with ease. I was rooting for Pradeep and Mamitha's pair, and I hope they do a film where they end up with each other."

Mask, a comedy thriller which is directed by debutant filmmaker Vikarnan Ashok, is set to release in theatres on November 21. Vetrimaaran has served as the mentor of the film. The film will feature actor and singer Andrea Jeremiah in a prominent role as well, with Ruhani Sharma pairing up with Kavin for the first time. Mask will also have actors Charle, Ramesh Thilak, Kalloori Vinoth, and Archana Chandhoke in pivotal roles. National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film. ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film and will also be available on OTTplay Premium.
