Mirai is just days away from its release on September 12, 2025. HanuMan fame Teja Sajja plays the main lead in this film, which has been directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni. Well, the pre-release event was held in Vizag the other day, and Teja revealed how he was handpicked by megastar Chiranjeevi for his debut.

Teja made his debut with Chiranjeevi's Choodalani Vundi and played the role of the star hero's son in the film. "The makers were looking for a small kid who would play Chiranjeevi's son and took a bunch of snaps to Chiru garu, and he handpicked my snap and told the makers that he wanted me at any cost. My parents were not at all interested in films, and the makers had a tough time convincing me to join the film. Since then, the acting bug in me started, and here I am ready with my biggest film to date, Mirai, which is having a record release," said Teja.

Post the success of HanuMan, Teja is now a popular actor in Hindi cinema as well, and as Mirai is getting released by Karan Johar, things have gone to the next level. Manchu Manoj makes a comeback with this film, and he plays the main villain in Mirai.

Rithika Naik plays the female lead in this film, which is getting a grand pan-India release across the globe. Ever since the trailer came out, there has been a lot of discussion about the VFX aspect in the film.

Made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, Mirai is already in the profit zone as JioHotstar has bagged the digital rights for Rs 50 crore. The other post-theatrical rights have fetched the film big money as Mirai is releasing with a massive table profit.
