Mirai OTT release: Multiple deleted scenes to be added to the digital version

Mirai is one of the biggest hits in recent times and is all set for its OTT release on October 10, 2025. The film will also be available to stream on OTTplay Premium. Meanwhile, reports suggest that a few deleted scenes that didn’t make it to the theatrical cut will be included in the OTT version.

This decision was made by the makers to give audiences a deeper insight into the making of the film. In an interview, director Karthik Ghattamaneni revealed that nearly four hours of footage were shot, and a significant amount of content was left out.

He also hinted that a few of his favorite scenes, which missed the final cut, will now be featured in the OTT version. This is exciting news for fans, as they’ll get to see unseen footage when the film premieres on OTTplay Premium.

Teja Sajja played the lead role, and Mirai’s success further cements that he’s not a one-film wonder after HanuMan. Ritika Nayak played the female lead, while Shriya Saran appeared in a key role.

However, Mirai’s success proved to be a major turning point for Manchu Manoj, marking his solid comeback after a long break. The film’s stunning VFX and massive production budget became talking points, as it collected nearly four times its cost and earned huge profits for the makers.

Interestingly, Mirai is still running in several theaters worldwide even as it gears up for its digital release. It will be interesting to see how the film performs once it lands on OTT.
