We had already reported that Akkineni Nagarjuna has already locked his 99th film in the direction of Prasanna Kumar. The film is a period drama and will kick start its shoot in Mysore soon. The film is a period drama and is the remake of the Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose which was a good hit. The pre-production of the film is also nearing its completion.

Well, the latest update is that none other than MM Keeravani, who composed music for RRR has been roped in, to pen music for this film as well. Big names like Allari Naresh and Raj Tharun are associated with this film but their names are not yet made official. Nagarjuna has been keeping a low profile ever since his last film The Ghost turned out to become a disaster at the box office. He will choose a proper time and announce the film.

Prasanna Kumar is making his debut with this film and he is high on the success of his last film Dhamaka featuring Ravi Teja. The film made over 100 crores at the box office. On the other hand, Akkineni Nagarjuna is also excited about his 100th film and so much was said as to who will direct it. Names of so many directors came out but Tamil director Mohan Raja has got the lucky chance.

Nag's son, Akhil will also be playing a key role in this film as per the news. Nagarjuna has locked the script. He has approved the narration given by Mohan Raja and has asked to go ahead with the pre-production. But for now, he wants his 99th project to go on floors and become a flop as he has given a flop with The Ghost and wants to make a comeback first.
