Joshiy directed this film, which starred both Mohanlal and Mammootty along with other stars Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Dileep. The multi-starrer Malayalam film which is a one-of-a-kind effort in Mollywood, roped in almost all of the main actors at the time. The film follows the events after the grandson of a retired Supreme Court Chief Justice is accused of murdering a fellow medical student.

Harikrishnans - JioHotstar

Fazil’s film starred Mammootty and Mohanlal as advocates with the name Harikrishnan, giving equal importance to both characters. The Malayalam stars brought their A-game to the film, which also featured an iconic scene with both pulling each other’s leg. Juhi Chawla played the female lead in the film, which had multiple climaxes.

Kariyilakkattu Pole – JioHotstar

After a popular filmmaker is found dead in his house, DySP Achuthankutty delves into his past as he tries to solve the case. Mammootty appears as director Harikrishnan, while Mohanlal plays the cop. Rahman and Karthika play the other key roles in the film, directed by P Padmarajan.

No. 20 Madras Mail - JioHotstar

The film follows Tony and his two friends from Kottayam who board a train to Madras. During the train journey, they also meet Mammootty, the megastar who plays himself. The fun interaction between Tony and Mammootty is still a fan-favourite.

Padayottam (1982) - Sun NXT

The 1982 film stars Malayalam’s evergreen hero Prem Nazir along with Madhu and Shankar, among several others. Mammootty and Mohanlal are also part of this film, marking one of their initial collaborations. This period drama narrates the tale of Prince Udayan who seeks revenge after his uncle was murdered.
