Mohor on getting hitched with Durnibar: Dada (Prosenjit Chatterjee) is overlooking the arrangements

Prosenjit Chatterjee’s manager Oindrila Sen, aka Mohor, is all set to tie the knot with acclaimed musician Durnibar Saha in less than a month. The ceremony preparations are in full swing by the couple and their families. The hotel is booked and the shopping is done. Days before their wedding, Mohor and Durnibar talked exclusively to us about their preparations and journey.

Mohor revealed that she bought a ‘dudhe-alta’ (blush pink) Banarasi sari for the occasion. “Baba, Maa, and dada (Prosenjit Chatterjee) are taking major decisions. After arrangements, we are taking it to dada and he is giving the final nod,” she said. Meanwhile, Durnibar’s family is taking the help of a professional in arranging everything. “My parents and I are trying to keep calm and do all the arrangements – finalising the guest list, Inviting friends and family members, and so on,” he said.

Mohor and Durnibar are receiving ‘endless’ blessings from Prosenjit. Talking about how he came to know about the relationship, Mohor revealed, “Dada essentially understands everything regarding my life. If I am a little under the weather, he senses it. So he, in fact, understood that I am seeing someone. One day, he jokingly asked if I am listening to enough music and I realised that he knew. I was initially a little scared of dada but then he made everything very easy.”

Durnibar seems overjoyed with Prosenjit’s blessings. “What I got from him is priceless. The first time I met him he very casually asked if I was doing fine. He asked about my work and life. There is no limit to his good wishes,” the musician said.

Mohor and Durnibar’s journey was not an easy one. When their relationship came to public, both of them were attacked on social media because of Durnibar’s previous marriage. “When we decided to marry, he already filed his divorce. If fact, when we started seriously seeing each other, they were separated. Even then, I was called a ‘homewrecker’. It was hurtful. We heard a lot,” Mohor remembered. “However, the support I got from my family and friends was outstanding. My parents embraced Durnibar without an iota of reservation,” she added.

While Durnibar is yet to create a whole song for her, it was music that brought them together. “I will always be grateful to Srijitda for a song he wrote – Monta Ahare from Pratim D Gupta’s Ahare Mon. That song brought us together,” said Durnibar.
