Rumour has it that the movie will be released in theatres during the extended school break in May. If this is the case, Mollywood Times would probably be shown in theatres with two other much awaited films, Athiradi and Kattalan. The day before the Basil Joseph-Tovino Thomas-starrer's May 15 premiere, Pepe's action thriller will be released. According to speculations, Vismaya Mohanlal's Thudakkam may also have its theatrical debut in May. A release date announcement for Mollywood Times is anticipated in the coming days.

Mollywood Times latest poster and other details

The first poster for this much anticipated film was released on January 1 along with other Malayalam film announcements. By showing Naslen with a video camera and an early 20s appearance, it implies that he is an aspiring filmmaker in this coming-of-age-drama. Moviegoers are thrilled by the poster, which is based on the turmoil of the film industry and is designed to resemble a vintage DVD cover.
