For Marvel fans, Disney+ day became a day of celebration in more ways than one. Marvel Studios released a slate of first look teasers for its upcoming Disney+ shows, including the much awaited Ms. Marvel.

Just short of 30 seconds, the teaser opens with the protagonist Kamala Khan looking up at a fixture of Captain Marvel. The young teen, who idolises the superhero, laments that young girls like her are not exactly the kind who end up ‘saving the world’.

The clip also shows her surrounded by a surreal energy force, signalling how she gets her powers and is transformed into the titular superhero, Ms Marvel. Glimpses of her donning a suit whose colours and patterns resemble that of Captain Marvel, are also seen.
