Naatu Naatu, the Telugu song from the SS Rajamouli-directed historical drama RRR, did the country proud by winning a Golden Globe Award under the best original song for a motion picture category. SS Rajamouli, the film’s lead stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, composer MM Keeravaani and their families graced the awards ceremony in the US held on Thursday. MM Keeravaani, while collecting the award, dedicated the win to his wife Valli, the team behind the song and the entire cast and crew of RRR.

The number from RRR, was originally lyricised by Chandrabose and sung by Rahul Sipligunj, Kaala Bhairava in Telugu and choreographed by Prem Rakshith. Incidentally, the Hindi version of Naatu Naatu, Naacho Naacho, also features in the TVC of the leading OTT aggregator, recommendation platforms in the country, OTTplay. The TVC revolves around a streaming enthusiast boss and an employee, with the former breaking into a song impromptu in the middle of a conversation.
