Nagarjuna’s much awaited Wild Dog is now streaming on Netflix.

Nagarjuna’s action-thriller Wild Dog is now streaming on Netflix. The movie dropped on the OTT service on April 22, much to the surprise of the fans who were eagerly awaiting the makers’ announcement.

The movie, which is currently available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, had a theatrical release on April 2. However, the film had to be withdrawn from theatres due to the rising COVID-19 numbers and restrictions in theatres.

Wild Dog marks the directorial debut of Ashishor Solomon and also has Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher, Atul Kulkarni and Ali Reza playing pivotal characters. The movie, based on true events, revolves around a group of counter-terrorism task force, led by a controversial officer Vijay Varma (Nagarjuna) known as the Wild Dog. He investigates two simultaneous bomb explosions that happened in Hyderabad. After identifying the mastermind behind the bombings, Varma conducts a secret operation to nab him.

The movie was a huge hit within the few days it ran in theatres and tickets were sold out for the shows. Both Solomon’s direction and the actors’ performances were lauded by the viewers.
