GodFather, the Telugu remake of the blockbuster political drama Lucifer, headlined by Chiranjeevi, promises to be the major festive attraction the coming weekend all across Telugu states. In what's Mohan Raja's second Telugu film as a director after Hanuman Junction, the screenplay of the original has underwent a massive makeover. Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Salman Khan essay other important roles in the film that's simultaneously releasing in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam on October 5.

S Thaman is composing the music for the film. After the tremendous response to the first single, Thaarmaar Thakkar Maar, a fast-paced party number featuring Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, the makers of GodFather released the second song titled Najabhaja. Sung by Sri Krishna and Prudhvi Chandra, the number is lyricised by Anantha Sriram. Named after a set of Telugu letters unique to a grammatical group called 'Champakamala', the intense song leaves a strong impact on the minds of the listener.

Anantha Sriram's biggest strength is how he reinvents himself from time to time and makes sure that he can't be slotted for particular genres. The opening lines "Najabhaja Jajara Najabhaja Jajara..Gaja Gaja Vanikinchae Gajaraajadigoraa..Bhujamulu Jhulipinchae Monagaadadigora..Gheem Gheem Gheemkarimchina Airaavatam" are a true testimony to his brilliance. It's powerful, rhythmic, doesn't compromise on poetic values and still stays relevant to the film's situation.

Undoubtedly, Thaman is in the form of his life and one can sense the impact the song will create at the theatres, provided it arrives at the right situation in the film. The brief glimpses of Chiranjeevi in the film promise a cracker of an outing. Najabhaja Jajara is just the push the film deserved a day prior to the pre-release event at Anantapur. Lakshmi Bhupala has written the dialogues of the film with Nirav Shah, Suresh Selvarajan heading the cinematography, art direction departments.
