It's been a year since A Suitable Boy the BBC One's miniseries dropped on the platform. Helmed by Mira Nair, the show is based on the novel of the same name by Vikram Seth. A few months later, A Suitable Boy was released on Netflix across the globe.

A Suitable Boy also featured Vivaan Shah, Mikhail Sen, Danesh Rizvi, Shahana Goswami, Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Varma and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in pivotal roles.

Now, during an interaction with IANS, Namit who played the role of Haresh Khanna took a trip down memory lane. He is very happy that A Suitable Boy has completed a year of its release. The actor revealed that the series is still getting a lot of reviews and is viewed continuously on Netflix and other platforms across the world.

Namit went on to say that, the series initially had a very lukewarm response here and a lot of his friends called him to tell him that they expected it to be bigger. He said, "Every project has a different nature and we can understand this with time."

Das also said that just like the book, even the series will be remembered years after. He added, "The book will always be alive and hence the show will always be alive. Anything that Mira Nair makes, survives the test of time."
