Netflix Pandaga: From SSMB28 to Dasara to Bholaa Shankar, streamer announces Telugu lineup for the year

It’s no secret that Netflix is taking the aggressive route to stabilise its position in the Telugu market. Every second notable Telugu movie has gone to Netflix in 2022 and this is only going to get bigger this year. Commemorating Sankranthi, as a festive gift to its Telugu viewers, Netflix has announced a little over a dozen films that are to premiere on the platform through the year and beyond. Given the names involved, there’s every reason for you to be excited about it.

Here are the films that’ll arrive on Netflix in 2023 and later

  • Buddy - Stars Sundeep Kishan, directed by Sam Anton and produced by KE Gnanavelraja under Studio Green. Hiphop Tamizha scores the music. Beyond Telugu, the film will arrive on Netflix as a post theatrical release in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada too.
  • Bholaa Shankar - Stars Chiranjeevi, Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah Bhatia and directed by Meher Ramesh, this remake of Vedalam will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Amigos - Stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Ashika Ranganath, directed by Rajendra Reddy and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Other than Telugu, the film will land on Netflix as a post theatrical release in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages as well.
  • Butta Bomma - The remake of Kappela, stars Anikha Surendran, Surya Vasishta and Arjun, directed by Shourie Chandrasekhar Ramesh and produced by Sithara Entertainments. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Dasara - Stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh and directed by Srikanth Odela. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Dhamaka - Stars Ravi Teja, Sreeleela and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by People Media Factory. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu as a post theatrical release.
  • Kartikeya 8 - Untitled action film starring Kartikeya Gummakonda, written and directed by Prashanth Reddy. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu as a post theatrical release.
  • Meter - Stars Kiran Abbavaram, directed by Ramesh Kaduri and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu as a post theatrical release.
  • 18 Pages - Stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran and directed by Surya Pratap Palnati and produced under GA2 Pictures. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu as a post theatrical release.
  • #SLV6 - Stars Naga Shaurya, directed by Pawan Basamsetti and produced by Shri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Naveen Polishetty-Anushka Shetty’s next - Directed by Mahesh Babu, UV Creations’ Production No. 14 will arrive on Netflix as a post theatrical release.
  • #PVT04 - Stars Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Sreeleela and directed by Srikanth Reddy. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Tillu Square - Stars Siddu Jonnalagadda, Anupama Parameswaran, this sequel to DJ Tillu is directed by Mallik Ram. Will arrive on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
  • Virupaksha - Stars Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon and directed by Karthik Dandu. Will arrive in Telugu as a post-theatrical release.
  • #VT12 - Stars Varun Tej, an action thriller directed by Praveen Sattaru.
  • #SSMB28 - Stars Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, directed by Trivikram with music by S Thaman. Produced by Harika and Hassine Entertaiment, #SSMB28 will land on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a post theatrical release.
