This quirky entertainer saw Sajin Gopu of Aavesham fame teaming up with Anaswara Rajan, who previously wowed viewers with her nuanced portrayal in Asif Ali’s Rekhachithram. But Painkili went for an over-the-top comedy and mostly succeeds. Laughs are guaranteed if you pick Painkili to watch this weekend.

Perusu

Language: Tamil

This Tamil adult comedy drama stars Vaibhav along with Sunil, Niharika NM, Bala Saravanan, and Deepa Shankar. The film follows the events after a respected elderly man dies in a village but it leads to a completely different problem which leaves the relatives embarrassed. Ilango Ram has directed this film.

There is also the Telugu film Tuk Tuk and the weekly series Life Partner premiering on ETV Win and OTTplay Premium this week.
