Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar are engaged in a good vs evil fight in the Hindi film Bhagwat Chapter 1 - Raakshas, while a lover’s thrilling journey is chronicled in the Kannada movie Elumale. Hindi: Bhagwat Chapter 1 - Raakshas

Arshad Warsi sheds his popular goofy persona as he transforms into the diligent Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat, who strives hard to crack a case of missing girls in the small town of Robertsganj in Uttar Pradesh. In his path to unravel the mystery, he comes across Sameer, a teacher, who seems to have a dark side. Is Sameer behind the sinister case? Jitendra Kumar, the ever-lovable Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory, delivers a chilling performance in the thriller film, which warrants your attention.

Malayalam: Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali

After winning much love for Sarkeet, Asif Ali is back in the digital space with Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali. But this time, he stands for men’s rights in the film, which portrays the plight of newly married Sahadevan who has been accused of harassment by his family. Though the idea appears to be questionable, the film does offer an alternative POV. It remains to be seen how the OTT audience would receive Sethunath Padmakumar’s film.

Kannada: Elumale

A romantic thriller, this Kannada film follows Elumale Kannadiga cab driver Harish as he sets out to meet his lover Revathy, who belongs to a rich family. But their plans to elope are upended when their paths cross with that of some criminal activities and covert operation. As the action unfolds in the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu, viewers are promised a thrilling tale. Raanna and Priyanka Achar play the lead roles.

Telugu: Kishkindhapuri

Raghav and Mythili arrange ghost-walking tours where often create paranormal activities for their clients. But one such outing turns out to be hauntingly real, as they awaken an evil spirit. Now the two youngsters have to unravel the past of the spirit and find a way to stop it from causing more trouble. Premam actress Anupama Parameswaran joins Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in this film, which promises some spooky horror thrills.

Bengali: Madam Sengupta

Another thriller, but this one is set in Bengal. Rituparna Sengupta stars as cartoonist Anurekha, who sets out to find the truth after her daughter is murdered. She finds an accomplice in Ranjan, who is also a journalist, as they dig deeper. But in a shocking turn of events, they find sinister happenings linked to Anurekha’s former husband. Rahul Bose appears in the other key role.
