After Tovino Thomas-led Malayalam film Narivetta last week, Dhanush’s Telugu hit film Kuberaa is the big OTT release in the south digital space this week. This is followed by Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan’s compelling film, titled DNA. There is also the lesser-known Malayalam film, named Asthra, making its OTT debut this week. Kuberaa

Tamil superstar Dhanush joined hands with Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula for Kuberaa, which was released in Tamil and Telugu. The film became a hit in Telugu, while the Tamil version did not create much of an impact. Dhanush stars as a beggar from Tirupati, who gets pulled into a deadly ploy. But when he manages to escape, Deepak has to find him at any cost. Nagarjuna plays the key role of Deepak in the film, which also features Jim Sarbh as the main antagonist. Rashmika Mandanna also appears in a key role.

The film revolves around the young couple of Anand and Divya, who tied the knot in an arranged marriage set-up. Their happy life is upended when their first child is born, as Divay realises that it is not her child, sparking a series of unsettling events. Actors Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan play the lead roles of the couple in the film.

Language: Malayalam
After two murders are committed in Wayanad, with the suspect gang leaving an arrow (Asthra) mark in blood, the police set out to find the culprits. The trailer hints that tense scenes and raw action would be the highlight of the movie. Amith Chakalakkal leads the film, along with Suhasini Kumaran and Senthil Krishna.
Sattamum Needhiyum

Language: Tamil
Actor Saravanan leads this Tamil web series, which is helmed by debutant Balaji Selvaraj. The series centres on the lesser-known advocate Sundara Moorthy, who decides to take up the case of a missing girl after her father sets himself ablaze in the court premises.
