Nikosh Chhaya is about occultist Bhaduri Moshai (Chiranjeet Chakraborty), called to investigate mysterious disappearances of bodies from a morgue. Two corpses vanish from a morgue, followed by the disappearance of a police officer's daughter, prompting an investigation by Officer Amiya (Gaurab Chakrabarty). The cases lead Amiya to seek help from the enigmatic occultist, Bhaduri Moshai, who realises dark, supernatural forces are at play, involving tantric rituals.

The villain is Bhanu (Kanchan Mallick), a cruel Aghori Tantric, who seeks immortality through black magic and uses stolen bodies for his deadly rituals. The series moves towards an intense confrontation between Bhaduri Moshai and Bhanu, where themes of light, darkness, and the supernatural are explored.
