The first-look poster of Nivin Pauly from director Ram's Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai was released yesterday. The poster features the actor sporting long hair and in a menacing and intense look. Taking to his social media handle, Nivin Pauly wrote, "Delighted to reveal my character’s first look in #Yezhukadalyezhumalai! #DirectorRam @sureshkamatchi @VHouseProd_Offl @yoursanjali @sooriofficial @thisisysr #nivinpauly (sic)."

Nivin shares screen space with Anjali and Soori in the film and their character posters, too, were released recently. The team had earlier released a title announcement video in which the actors were seen as animated characters. Going by the video, it seems like the film is an intense love story between the lead character and the two lead actors seem to be intensely in love but face threat. Towards the end of the video, Nivin Pauly's voiceover says, "Not just your heart, when in love, your soul, body, and everything will fly.”

Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While the cinematography is by NK Ekhambaram, Mathi S is handling the editing. The film has been bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai will mark Nivin Pauly’s third film in Tamil. He had earlier starred in the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Neram in which he teamed up with Nazriya and Richie, a neo-noir action crime film directed by Gautham Ramachandran and written by Rakshit Shetty. The film had Shraddha Srinath as the leading lady.

Nivin Pauly was recently seen in Padavettu, a political action thriller written and directed by Liju Krishna, in which he teamed up with Aditi Balan and Shammi Thilakan. The plot revolves around the lives of an oppressed community in the northern part of Kerala. He also appeared in the comedy drama Saturday Night, helmed by Rosshan Andrews. The film revolves around the lives of four friends.
