The two will be seen on screen together once again in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is also directed by R. Madhavan.

Madhavan is a fan-favourite actor in multiple parts of the country, and the success he has known across his career is something rare. The actor has always been known for his romantic roles and has entertained fans by playing the lover boy. As he gets ready for the release of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, fans will see him on screen with actor Simran once again.
Simran, who has previously worked with Madhavan in Paarthale Paravasam and Kannathil Muthamittal, opened up about how it feels to work with him again after 20 years.
Taking to Twitter, Simran shared a photo with Madhavan and wrote, "From playing Simi & Dr. Madhava in Paarthale Paravasam to Indira & Thiru in Kannathil Muthamittal, to playing Mr. and Mrs. Nambi Narayanan, nothing much has changed!!"
She called Madhavan "the best" and wrote in another Tweet, "It was wonderful to work on your directorial debut in addition to sharing the screen with you after 20 long years!"
Parthale Paravasam and Kannathil Muthamittal saw the two actors play a married couple who were faced with a big issue in their marriage at one point in time. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, does not look to be any different.
Madhavan stars, directs and produces the movie, which will track the life of the scientist who was falsely accused of espionage. Simran plays Nambi’s wife, Meena Narayanan. The movie also features Rajit Kapur, Misha Ghoshal, Karthik Kumar, Gulshan Grover, and Dinesh Prabhakar, among others.
Rocketry, which is filmed in Tamil, Hindi, and English, will also be released in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The movie hits theatres across the globe on July 1.
