It was a star-studded evening when Tollywood stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, and many others gathered to celebrate content creators’ evening at the city’s alfresco restaurant. It was Josh Bangla Creator Day and celebrities gathered to encourage young content creators.

Several Tollywood celebs who were spotted at the do are content creators on Josh. Umang Bedi and Mahendra Soni represented Josh and SVF, respectively. There were many awards for the creators, including the fastest growing, the most liked, the most followed, and the most viewed creators. There was also a popular choice category. Anirban Chakraborty, Nusrat Faria, Arjun Chakraborty, and others gave away the awards. Some actors also were awarded as the creators, including John Bhattacharya, Anindya Chatterjee, Sreema Bhattacharya, Rajdeep Gupta, and Tanwi Laha Roy.

Josh App started its journey, keeping in mind the popularity of short videos in the net world. Last year they tied up with SVF. After that, they garnered a huge response from Bengal.

In the last year, the number of users in Josh has increased. Hence Bengali language in the APP went up from the tenth to the fifth position. A 'Creators' Meet' was arranged on the occasion of its first anniversary. More than 250 content creators from eastern India shared their ideas. Prosenjit wished the creators the best and said, “I am elated seeing so many young talents. We did not have these opportunities in our time. I believe the new stars of our industry will come from here.”

The officials made clear that the app will bring more surprises in the next year. Mahendra Soni hinted that they have plans to make a film with two of the app’s creators.
