Shahid Kapoor is all set to be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming action musical, O' Romeo. This film marks the fourth collaboration between the actor and the filmmaker. On September 14, the makers announced the title, along with the first look, which garnered a lot of attention. Now, a report shared that O' Romeo has entered its final leg of shooting and Shahid will film heavy action sequences.

Mid-Day reported that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor will film a quick shoot at Vrundavan  Studios in Malad on December 28, marking the last leg of the shoot. “It’s a patch shoot, with some action and dialogue-heavy scenes lined up," the source added.

The director will focus mainly on Kapoor's important parts in this two-day event. On the other hand, female lead Tripti Dimri and Randeep Hooda will not be required for these parts.

“That leg will mostly include crowd sequences and scenes with body doubles. If required, the actors may be requested to report for a day or so,” added the source. Meanwhile, O' Romeo will hit cinemas on February 14, 2026.

Mentioning the cast of the film, Shahid further added, "This post can’t be complete without including the stellar cast @tripti_dimri who I had a total blast with. Watch out for her act in this one. He also thanked Nana Patekar for those 'oh so layered scenes' they got together."

The film also stars Farida Jalal, and tagging her, Shahid expressed his gratitude to her and thanked the veteran actress for her warmth and grace. He also thanks Avinash Tiwari, Disha Patani, and others.

Given Bhardwaj's history of adapting Shakespeare (e.g. Haider was based on Hamlet), the title O' Romeo hints at a possible romantic origin or a tragic love story, even within the framework of the action genre.
