Sharwanand, after a series of recent setbacks, would be looking to bounce back with a bang in the form of his feel-good entertainer Oke Oka Jeevitham, a bilingual that is also releasing in Tamil as Kanam. Ritu Varma plays the female lead in the film that features Amala Akkineni, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi and Nasser in key roles. Shree Karthick, a first-time filmmaker, has directed the film that is hitting theatres on September 9.

Jakes Bejoy composes music for the film. The second single from the bilingual, Okate Kadhaa, sung by Gowtham Bharadwaj and lyricised by Krishna Kanth, was launched today. It's just the breezy, free-flowing number that'll work as a perfect companion with your evening cup of coffee on a lazy day. The song takes listeners through the trials and tribulations of a youngster, an aspirant musician, who takes a dig at his not-so-happening life on a light-hearted note.

Gowtham Bharadwaj's vocals, where he underplays himself significantly to retain the feel-good vibe of the number, are undoubtedly a major asset. In the lyrical video, the director Shree Karthick helps Sharwanand with his posture and lip sync. It's evident that Sharwanand and Ritu Varma make for an appealing on-screen pair. While the film is a light-hearted yet emotional ride, it has a time-travel dimension to it too, where the protagonists go back in time for a reason.

Tharun Bhascker has penned the dialogues for the Telugu version. Both the brothers Sujitha Sarang and Sreejith Sarang are part of the film as the cinematographer and editor respectively. Satheesh Kumaris the art director. Amala Akkineni plays the role of Sharwanand's mother in the film. Oke Oka Jeevitham will have several segments with VFX too. Sharwanand's last release was Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu in March.
