The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Oru Startup Kadha, have confirmed that its production works will begin soon. The movie was announced in a puja ceremony held in Kochi today (July 15).

The first poster of the film was unveiled during the ceremony, along with confirming its lead actors- Amith Mohan and Saafboi. Both of them rose to fame with their performances in the coming-of-age movie, Vaazha – Biopic of a Billion Boys, which is streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. While Saaf recently appeared in Suraj Venjaramoodu-starrer fantasy film, Padakkalam, Amith Mohan played a pivotal role in Saiju Kurup's Jai Mahendran, which is available on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium.

The image, which depicts two men—one of whom seems to be a professional and the other a food delivery worker—hints at an interesting tale of two young people trying to earn money through a startup. It has also been revealed that the filming will begin on July 25. The photos of the puja ceremony was shared by the cast and crew on various social media platforms. Nayanthara Chakravarthy, Roni David and Harshita Pisharody play supporting parts in this movie, which is expected to hit the big screen by the end of this year. It has also been confirmed that Jude Anthany Joseph will be playing an antagonist in Oru Startup Kadha. The actor-director's lineup of films include his upcoming directorial titled 'Thudakkam', in which Mohanlal's daughter Vismaya is making her acting debut. The screenplay for this eagerly awaited movie was written by the director himself.

Hemanth Ramesh is directing this project, which is bankrolled by Akshit Lahoria, Gurjot, Shahzad Khan and Azmat Jagmag under the banners of Zee Studios, Beingu Studios and Story Book in association with Travancore Studios. Harish Kumar V has penned the screenplay for Oru Startup Kadha.
