While Panchayat 4 leads you to believe that there is no kiss scene between Sachiv Ji and Rinki, Jitendra has something else to share. Many believe Sanvikaa hinted that the kiss is removed because she felt awkward, but he assured that it is just shot differently. Jitendra Kumar told NDTV, "I think Sanvikaa's comment was taken out of context. When the scene was proposed to me first, I told the makers to ask Sanvikaa first. Her consent was essential. We wanted to make the scene awkwardly funny. They are going to kiss, and the light goes off - something on this note. Later, we shot it differently."

Speaking on the show as a whole, Jitendra confessed that although he was skeptical about Panchayat 4 after reading the initial reviews, he calmed down later since majority of the viewers enjoyed the series.
The actor recalled how Panchayat's journey began with Malgudi Days. He also shared that while he loves Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya too, Sachiv Ji is closer to him. "Both are close to my heart. Unnis-bees ka fark hai. But Sachivji is closer as I can get a tour of a village. That opportunity doesn't come often," he said.
