Paradha trailer review
Post the success of Tillu Square, everyone was of the opinion that Anupama Parameswaran would sign back-to-back glamorous roles. However, she chose a women-centric film titled Paradha. Directed by Cinema Bandi and Subham fame Praveen Kandregula, the film has been in the news for its intriguing promotions across the Telugu states.

The makers have finally revealed the trailer, and it looks top-notch. Anupama Parameswaran plays Subbu, a small-town girl who always hides her face with a veil, as it is the tradition of her village. She joins two other women, played by Darshana Rajendran and Sangita, on a journey that changes her life. The other two women have their own struggles, and how these three are forced to join hands and take on the male-dominated world is the core of the story.
Director Praveen Kandregula adds a lot of thrills to the setup, depicting a village filled with bad omens where women are forced to cover their faces. The backstory of Paradha and how Anupama's character is perceived as an omen to the village form the basic theme of the film. The narrative highlights how women should break free and face life without filters.
Anupama plays a young woman who decides to break the rules and live life on her own terms. Darshana Rajendran is portrayed as someone high on life who loves traveling, while Sangita plays a mature housewife determined to break her shackles. Rag Mayur plays Anupama's love interest and is responsible for much of the chaos. Rajendra Prasad and others appear in key roles.
A large portion of the film was shot in Dharamshala, offering stunning visuals. Gopi Sundar has composed the music, and his score elevates the proceedings. The film blends suspense, drama, romance, and a strong social message.
Praveen Kandregula, who last directed Subham, also built around a message of women’s freedom, once again showcases how women in small towns are bound by restrictive traditions. With the trailer launch, the makers have announced that Paradha will release on August 22, 2025. Amazon Prime has bagged the digital rights to the film.
