The story begins with a woman named Karina witnessing a terrible crime. The woman is shown as an ex-junkie and now she has been thrust into a dangerous situation. The killer, who committed the crime, begins to threaten her with her daughter’s life unless she helps him. The woman now must race against time, outsmart the police, and dodge the other dangerous people from the criminal world, all the while trying to protect her daughter at any cost.

Director Scott Weintrob’s experience of working with veteran actor Harvey Keitel

Back in September 2024, the director of Paradox Effect, Scott Weintrob talked highly about veteran actor Harvey Keitel in an interview with the US Weekly portal. Scott stated that Keitel is a “legacy”. For the unversed, Weintrob made his directorial debut with Paradox Effect. Hence, according to him, many superstars hesitate to work with a newcomer after reaching that position. But Harvey Keitel is quite unique and different from most of the Hollywood stars, according to Weintrob.

Weintrob stated that Keitel is a “living legend”. He feels great to have worked with such an actor like Harvey, who previously worked with acclaimed filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese. “He gave lots of directors a shot and he looked at my work, and we spoke, and he had watched my work”, Scott stated.
