Paranthu Po director Ram on why his heroes are man child:

In a recent conversation about his film Parandhu Po, director Ram was asked about how his protagonists are man-child. Agreeing to this, the filmmaker explained it why:

"I am a man-child myself, and I don't mean stubborn. When someone asks me a question, I can easily get triggered and go on to talk without censor and filter. When my stories do not have antagonists, only when he (protagonists) is man-child, I will have conflict. He would be a man with flaws. Usually, heroes are expected to be a complete man, and flawless. But when you don't have a villain in the film, when your hero is a man-child, it is easy to play. Because he is innocent, fool, bad, evil, smart and everything.”
