Parthiban is all praise for Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, says the film will spread love in society

Aamir Khan was in Chennai the other day for the promotion of his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha. The Bollywood superstar met a few Kollywood celebs and screened the film for them. We hear that many of them were all praise for the feel-good drama, which is the official remake of Forrest Gump.

Actor-filmmaker Parthiban took to his Twitter page to express his admiration for Aamir and the film after the special screening. The former said that he became emotional after watching the movie and said to Aamir, " You are just spreading love through this film to a society where there is hatred and negativity."

Parthiban also posted a picture with Aamir and added that elements like love, responsibility and dedication have been depicted beautifully in Laal Singh Chaddha. According to him, it is an important movie in today's times considering the amount of hatred being spread purposefully by many people.

Parthiban, whose last outing Iravin Nizhal released almost a month ago, received critical acclaim for his unique attempt, but his claim of the movie being the world's first single-shot non-linear film is still being debated by cinephiles.

His next directorial project is the Hindi remake of Oththa Seruppu which will star Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. The Tamil version, which won many awards, including two National Film Awards - Best Audiography and Special Jury Award - had Parthiban himself playing the lead.

Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has been brought on board to compose for the remake while the Tamil version had background score by C Sathya apart from Santhosh Narayanan who composed a song. An announcement on the Hindi version's title and release is expected soon.
