Bollywood is off to a fantastically successful start in 2023. If Brahmastra, The Kashmir Files, and Drishyam 2 each achieved a double century at the box office in 2022, Pathaan has demonstrated how it can be done quickly and without any hassle this year. It involves taking the first strike and then smashing four massive ones out of the park to quickly reach a double century. It's understandable why the movie's current box office total which is astounding is 221.75 crores after yet another record-breaking day on Saturday.

The Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie had a slight drop on Friday, but gained momentum again during the weekend. Pathaan made Rs 57 crore on its first day, Rs 70.5 crore on Thursday, Rs 39.25 crore on Friday, and is it made Rs 51.50 crore on Saturday.

It has achieved this by surpassing the total lifetime earnings of other 200 Crore Club hits that Bollywood has seen throughout the years. Again, Pathaan has eclipsed the lifetime scores of each of these 200 Crore Club heavyweights (Golmaal, Bharat, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Housefull 4, Good Newz, Mission Mangal) in just 4 days, including Shah Rukh Khan's own Happy New Year and Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots.
