Peddi is Ram Charan’s new film, which is currently busy with its shoot. Buchi Babu Sana, who made his debut with the award-winning film Uppena, is directing Peddi on a massive budget.

The film’s shooting was taking place in Delhi over the last few days, and the latest update is that the Delhi schedule has been wrapped up. With this, nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, according to unit sources.

Ram Charan will be seen in a desi look in this film, which is being backed by the makers of Pushpa. A. R. Rahman has composed the music, and the way the first single, Chikiri, has gone viral is there for all to see.

Ram Charan has been going through a lull for the past few years, and his last release, Game Changer, ended as a huge flop at the box office. As a result, he is working extra hard to make Peddi a big hit when the film releases on March 27, 2026.

As per reports, the film has a cricket backdrop, and Divyendu Sharma of Mirzapur fame plays the main villain. Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead, and her glamour is said to be one of the major attractions of the film.
